I am a Texan who hardly ever lives in Texas. Raised in Southeast Asia, I developed a love for cross-cultural living early in life. My love for writing came soon after. 

I returned to Texas to attend college and fell in love again…with a Texan! We married a month after I graduated and by our second anniversary, we were living in a remote African town. 

Along with our three sons, we lived in Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. Now our sons are grown, and we have two daughters-in-law and one grandson.

We still love to live and travel around the world. I write about faith and culture and about living a life that meshes the two. I earned a Master of Theological Studies from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
